This series is about the shadows - the moving, fleeting beauty of them dancing on a surface. A moment in time, evoking memories of lazy days in tropical climes. I imagine these hung in a row but they work as a grid too.
The natural colour of a cyanotype is blue but these have been bleached afterwards with sodium carbonate and toned again with coffee. A process where the image disappears and appears again, much like the shadows the images are about.
50 x 50cm each - could be framed separately or together but hung together for impact
